Georgia State defeated Delaware 54-41 in the First Round of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament on Friday. Joe Dukes scored 15 points, grabbed 12 boards and 5 assists for the Panthers who will advance to the quarterfinals to play top-seeded Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday at Noon.
The Rams beat Georgia State 69-41 in the last game of the regular season. VCU is 2-0 against the Panthers this season.
